I recently visited Dr. Drissi for baby Botox treatment. During the consultation, I requested that the procedure should not eliminate motion in my face, and I declined injections in my cheek. Dr Drissi proceeded against my request, resulting in the full loss of facial movement in the treated areas as well as flattening and creasing of the upper cheeks and eyes. In addition to this, my initial appointment with Dr. Drissi was for IPL treatment, which I have had positive experiences with in the past. However, when she began, I discovered that Dr. Drissi planned to substitute a high frequency ultrasound treatment without my knowledge. This was particularly concerning as I had previously expressed my disinterest in HIFU due to risks of fat loss in the face with this treatment. The botox took 6 months to wear off and resulted in an undesirable change in my facial features, including new lines around my eye, unnatural creasing and flattening of the upper cheeks, and drooping around the eyes. When I attempted to communicate my concerns, I felt pressured to consider additional services that I did not require.
