Dr. Tarhbalouti Rachid is an exceptional cardiologist and an outstanding human being. He has been both my cardiologist and my father’s, and we trust him completely. He is remarkably knowledgeable and attentive. He correctly diagnosed Takotsubo syndrome — a condition that is still too often misunderstood or dismissed by many practitioners — and guided me clearly on managing stress and emotional triggers. At another time, when I experienced chest pain that turned out not to be cardiac, he was equally thorough and thoughtful, identifying the likely nerve-related cause and prescribing a simple treatment that genuinely helped. What truly sets him apart is his ability to listen, to distinguish carefully between different causes, and to treat the patient as a whole person. He gives you time, explains things clearly, and approaches medicine with humility, curiosity, and continuous learning. In his hands, medicine feels less like a routine practice and more like a humane art. I cannot recommend him highly enough. ❤️ ~Assya Moussaid

Clinical Guidance

How to assess symptoms and act early

For cardiac concerns in Agadir, seek early review when chest discomfort, palpitations, or breathlessness becomes more frequent or severe.

Symptom guide

Cardiac triage focuses on symptom pattern, exertion relationship, duration, and associated neurologic or respiratory warning signs.

When to request same-day medical help

  • Recurring chest pressure, palpitations, or shortness of breath with activity.
  • New fatigue, exercise intolerance, leg swelling, or blood pressure instability.
  • Cardiac symptoms are becoming more frequent compared with baseline.
  • Known heart disease with recent symptom pattern change.

Emergency warning signs (call now)

  • Severe chest pain lasting several minutes, especially with sweating or nausea.
  • Shortness of breath at rest, fainting, or near-fainting.
  • Sudden neurologic signs such as speech difficulty or one-sided weakness.
  • Blue lips, cold clammy skin, or rapidly worsening circulation signs.

What to do while waiting for the doctor

  • Keep the patient seated and avoid physical effort.
  • Monitor pain, breathing, pulse, and consciousness trend.
  • Prepare cardiac medication list and previous reports.
  • Do not self-escalate medicines beyond known physician instructions.

Good outcomes usually come from early escalation, clear symptom tracking, and disciplined waiting steps.
