Très bon centre de dialyse, bien organisé, dans un quartier calme. Les infirmières sont serviables. Les médecins ont de l'expérience et sont à l'écoute. Je recommande.

Very good place. Some staff speak a little English but they make an effort. 2-3 speak decent English. They're all very friendly and helpful. Come straight away on a machine alarm. UK could learn from them. About 20 dirhams (about £2) metered taxi (small red ones) from the beach hotels. Approx 15 minute drive in mornings and 20 minutes in afternooon/evening.

Clinical Guidance

How to assess symptoms and act early

For kidney-related symptoms in Agadir, request nephrology support quickly when urine output, swelling, or blood pressure stability worsens.

Symptom guide

Nephrology triage focuses on fluid status, urine trend, renal-risk medications, blood pressure control, and signs of uremic or electrolyte instability.

When to request same-day medical help

  • Urine output is reduced compared with normal baseline.
  • Leg, face, or generalized swelling is increasing over days.
  • Blood pressure is unstable despite chronic kidney treatment.
  • Known kidney disease symptoms are worsening and daily function is affected.

Emergency warning signs (call now)

  • Almost no urine output with pain, breathlessness, or severe weakness.
  • Rapid fluid overload signs including chest tightness or respiratory distress.
  • Confusion, severe drowsiness, or acute mental change in renal patients.
  • Chest pain or severe arrhythmia concern with advanced kidney disease.

What to do while waiting for the doctor

  • Track urine volume, weight trend, and swelling progression.
  • Respect fluid and salt restrictions if already prescribed.
  • Avoid NSAIDs or unverified medications that can worsen renal function.
  • Prepare dialysis schedule, recent labs, and medication chart.

Good outcomes usually come from early escalation, clear symptom tracking, and disciplined waiting steps.
