Long story short, make sure to have good travel insurances ! It's a rip off, walk in needing an intravenous rehydration, walk out 6 hours later with a bill stating that you've spend a whole day there at the intensive care (at a cost!). No wonder why he was insisting on me spending as much time as possible there ! The best part is that you get a blank bill, you basically get the total amount due without any justification of the price (which is higher than what I would have had to pay in Canada for the exact same treatment). As soon as I dared ask questions, I got yelled at, literally. Good times !

Great service and helpful staff at this location. I needed an x-ray and was seen to immediately. Dr. Fatima Ezzahra Darif was kind, patient and perfessional. She reviewed the x-ray with me, gave a prescription and offered a free followup visit. I was completely satisfied with my experience here and would definitely recommend!

Clinical Guidance

How to assess symptoms and act early

For clinic-based care in Essaouira, request same-day review when symptoms involve multiple systems or when diagnosis and treatment need coordinated evaluation.

Symptom guide

Clinic triage prioritizes complexity, progression speed, and need for multi-specialty or diagnostic support in one coordinated pathway.

When to request same-day medical help

  • Symptoms are persistent and not clearly explained by one simple cause.
  • You need coordinated assessment with labs, imaging, and specialist input.
  • Current treatment is not improving the condition over expected time.
  • Chronic conditions are flaring and require structured same-day review.

Emergency warning signs (call now)

  • Severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, confusion, or collapse.
  • Stroke-like signs, seizure, or sudden neurologic deficit.
  • Uncontrolled bleeding, severe dehydration, or rapidly worsening state.
  • Any instability where emergency dispatch is safer than outpatient flow.

What to do while waiting for the doctor

  • Keep the patient stable and avoid unnecessary exertion.
  • Prepare full medical file including medications and previous reports.
  • Note symptom onset, progression, and current severity.
  • Escalate to emergency call if red flags appear before appointment.

Good outcomes usually come from early escalation, clear symptom tracking, and disciplined waiting steps.
