Maryam..

Pregnancy and birth is- or at least should be regarded as amongst the most thrilling and joyous experiences In a woman's life, as well as for the coming father. We need consultations and birth preparations that support the coming parents In their learning about this miraculous, natural progress, In the body's ability to give birth naturally if left alone to do its work. Women need to be listened to, what do they need and want during their pregnancy and birth? They need to feel safe that no one will push their meanings on them and violate their autonomy In their most vulnerable moments In life. No one knows her body better than herself, and no one loves the baby more than her🤍 Midwife Maryem and her assistants are fulfilling all these needs, Allahumma baarik. She listens and with humbleness shares from her knowledge and experience. She greets you like a soul friend and remarkably remembers everything you have told her during the consultations. The birth room has also a big bath tub nicely decorated with candles and flowers. It is cleeean, neat and cozy, and they have a good system to handle the waiting patients. For example that they prioritize the mothers who come with their newborns, and let them stay In a cozy room where they can Breastfeed and relax. I am so extremely thankfull that I was recommended this birth clinic, and have now behind me my most blessed birth, Alhamdulillah🤍

Clinical Guidance

How to assess symptoms and act early

For maternity support in Tangier, request rapid midwife evaluation when contractions, bleeding, reduced fetal movement, or postpartum concerns are present.

Symptom guide

Midwifery triage is centered on maternal stability, fetal movement trend, bleeding volume, blood pressure warning signs, and postpartum infection risk.

When to request same-day medical help

  • Contractions become regular and increasingly painful before expected delivery timing.
  • Fetal movement feels reduced compared with usual pattern.
  • Persistent postpartum pain, wound discomfort, or breastfeeding complications.
  • Pregnancy symptoms such as headache, swelling, or dizziness are increasing.

Emergency warning signs (call now)

  • Heavy vaginal bleeding, collapse, or severe abdominal pain.
  • Seizure, severe headache with visual changes, or high blood pressure red flags.
  • No fetal movement with ongoing pain or bleeding.
  • Postpartum fever with foul discharge or heavy bleeding.

What to do while waiting for the doctor

  • Lie on the left side if pregnant and monitor contractions.
  • Track bleeding amount and fetal movement pattern.
  • Prepare prenatal records, blood group info, and medication list.
  • Avoid unprescribed medications or supplements.

Good outcomes usually come from early escalation, clear symptom tracking, and disciplined waiting steps.
