BI-PROFENID LP

They stem from the analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity of ketoprofen, the importance of the intolerance manifestations to which the medicine gives rise, and its place in the range of anti-inflammatory products currently available.

They are limited, in adults and children from 15 years of age, to:

· Long-term symptomatic treatment:

o of chronic inflammatory rheumatism, notably rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (or related syndromes, such as Fiessinger-Leroy-Reiter syndrome and psoriatic rheumatism),

o of certain painful and disabling arthroses.

· Short-term symptomatic treatment of acute flare-ups:

o of abarticular rheumatism such as scapulohumeral periarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis,

o of microcrystalline arthritis,

o of arthroses,

o of low back pain,

o of radiculalgia,

o of benign acute post-traumatic affections of the locomotor system.

Warn patients of the possible onset of dizziness, drowsiness, convulsions, or visual disturbances. It is advised not to drive or use machines if any of these symptoms appear.
