Clinical Guidance

How to assess symptoms and act early

For physiotherapy support in Marrakech, request review when pain, stiffness, weakness, or mobility limits are worsening and reducing normal movement.

Symptom guide

Physiotherapy triage is about function: movement quality, pain progression, neurologic symptoms, and post-injury recovery trend.

When to request same-day medical help

  • Back, neck, shoulder, or knee pain persists and limits normal activity.
  • Stiffness, weakness, or reduced range of motion is worsening over days.
  • Rehabilitation progress after surgery or injury is slower than expected.
  • Recurring pain episodes are increasing in frequency.

Emergency warning signs (call now)

  • Major trauma with deformity, inability to bear weight, or severe swelling.
  • Sudden weakness, numbness, or loss of limb control.
  • Back pain with new bladder or bowel control changes.
  • Severe pain with fever, confusion, or rapid neurologic decline.

What to do while waiting for the doctor

  • Reduce load on the painful area and avoid provoking movements.
  • Use gentle relative rest, short ice or heat sessions if tolerated.
  • Do not force stretching or high-intensity exercises during acute pain.
  • Track pain triggers, movement limits, and response to rest.

Good outcomes usually come from early escalation, clear symptom tracking, and disciplined waiting steps.
