If you are staying with family, say which room is easiest for you to reach and whether you already have a chair or walking aid there. Tell us about any instructions you were given after an operation or injury. The physiotherapist can use that information when assessing what is appropriate at the first visit.
Share the activity you most want to work on, such as getting up from a chair or moving around the home. If sessions have already started elsewhere, have the plan available. The physiotherapist decides how to use the available space and whether to suggest follow-up.
Step 1
Tell us what you want to work on and whether this is your first assessment or a follow-up.
Step 2
Tell us which room is accessible, whether there are stairs and what equipment you already have.
Step 3
Confirm the address and appointment before making plans. Ask the physiotherapist after the assessment whether follow-up sessions are appropriate.
For a flat in Guéliz, tell us the floor and whether there is a lift. For a home in a medina lane that is difficult to find, give a meeting point and name someone who can show the physiotherapist the way. If reaching the room itself involves stairs, mention that separately from the access to the building.
Gather the referral if you have one, any movement restrictions, and your previous rehabilitation plan. Have the walking aid you normally use nearby and be ready to describe the daily activity you want to work on.
Tell us what you have already. The physiotherapist can assess the available space and discuss whether any additional equipment would be useful.
Share your existing plan, the date of the last session and any instructions from your clinician. The physiotherapist can review those details before recommending how to continue.
Ask about availability for your preferred days. The physiotherapist determines whether follow-up is appropriate after assessing your needs. Confirm the timing and quote for any sessions you plan to book.
Describe the stairs and any room on an easier-to-reach level. The physiotherapist can discuss which space to use after reviewing your mobility and the available setup.
