This belongs to a group of medicines called antivirals. It acts by preventing the growth of certain viruses. ACICLOVIR ARROW can be used to: · treat chickenpox and shingles; · prevent complications of shingles of the eye (a viral disease characterized by a painful rash at the level of the eye) in adults.
