This medicine belongs to a family called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. These medicines are used notably to decrease inflammation and calm pain. Therapeutic indications KETOPROFENE CRISTERS 50 mg, capsule is intended for adults and adolescents from 15 years of age. This medicine is used to relieve symptoms: · in long-term treatment: o in chronic inflammatory rheumatism (inflammation of the joints), o in certain painful and disabling osteoarthritis (wear of the cartilage leading to pain in the joints and hindering movements), · in short-term treatment in painful crises affecting: o the structures surrounding the joints (tendinitis, bursitis, periarthritis), o the joints (in case of microcrystalline arthritis or osteoarthritis), o the lower back (low back pain), o in case of inflammation of a nerve (for example in case of sciatica), o in certain cases, after a trauma.
